It is with deep respect and heavy hearts that we remember Mike Garrett, a treasured member of our shuffleboard community.

Mike was more than a skilled player—he was a true ambassador of the game. Known for his warmth, sportsmanship, and willingness to share his expertise, Mike welcomed everyone—seasoned players and newcomers alike—into the shuffleboard family. He had a way of making you feel like you belonged.
Over the years, Mike won numerous tournaments, but his greatest victories were in the friendships he built and the players he mentored. He could often be found discussing shuffleboard strategies with anyone interested, always generous with his time and insight.

His journey included immense personal challenges—most notably, the courageous recovery from being hit by a bus. Even through pain and physical hardship, Mike returned to the courts with perseverance and a smile, never letting go of his love for the game.

Mike's extraordinary contributions to the sport were recognized when he was inducted into the California Shuffleboard Hall of Fame, a testament to his lasting impact and dedication.
We will remember Mike for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for shuffleboard. He inspired us all, and his legacy will live on in every game we play.
